Digital Signage · ROI Model
What would going digital actually save you?
Model the swap from print, posters, and manual updates to a Korbyt signage deployment. The three cards below start pre-filled with an example organization — replace every number with your own. The savings percentages under “Adjust the savings assumptions” are the only figures pulled from published research, cited at the bottom of the page.
Example scenario — the numbers below are a plausible starting point, not a benchmark. Enter your own.
01 Your footprint
How much of your organization this deployment touches.
02 What you spend today
Your current print, posters, and manual-update workflow.
03 Your Korbyt investment
The cost side of the equation.
▸ Adjust the savings assumptions
Why these numbers hold up
The default assumptions above aren’t guesses — they’re drawn from published research on digital signage adoption and operations.
How this is calculated
Three things are compared: your operating cost today, your operating cost with Korbyt, and a separate employee communication value that scales with how many people the deployment reaches.
What’s actually sourced vs. what you provide: the print-reduction % and labor time-saved % are editable within published ranges (see Sources). Screens, employees, print spend, hours/week, and platform cost are your numbers — the values shown on load are an example scenario, not an industry average, because no such average exists publicly. Communication value defaults to $0 because it isn’t a published figure at all; see the field’s own note before turning it on.
Sources — what’s genuinely backed by research
- Korbyt — “From Buzz to Blueprint: Discovering Your Digital Signage ROI” — ROI methodology.
- Korbyt — “Measuring ROI of Digital Signage in Retail Banking” — 30–50% print cost reduction; 12–18 month bank payback.
- CrownTV — “Digital Signage Statistics 2026” — $4–$6 return per $1; 6–18 month average payback; 4–5× recall lift; 80% vs. 15–20% recall.
- CastHub — “Digital Signage ROI Calculator” — $8–$20/screen/month pricing range; $45/hr loaded labor rate (cited there to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employer Costs for Employee Compensation, March 2025).
- MVIX — “Digital Signage Statistics 2025” — ~25% productivity lift, ~22% engagement lift from improved internal comms. Cited as context for why communication value might matter — not converted into a dollar figure here.
Not sourced, and we won’t pretend otherwise: the example screens/employees/print-spend/hours-per-week numbers this tool loads with. We checked how other digital signage ROI calculators handle this (TouchSource, CastHub) — none of them cite a real “typical” print budget either, because it varies too much by organization to benchmark. Replace every number in the first three cards with your own before treating the output as a real estimate.
