Network monitoring confirms a player is online. ScreenDetective works at the content layer. It confirms what is actually on the screen. A player can be fully reachable while showing a blank or frozen frame. Both signals matter; only one sees what your visitors see.
Does ScreenDetective work with our existing hardware?
Any Korbyt player that supports screenshot capture can be monitored, including Windows 10/11, BrightSign, Samsung SSSP, LG webOS, and ChromeOS. Cloud connectivity is required, and no agent is installed on the player.
Will ScreenDetective take automated action on our displays without approval?
You decide. Run in detection-and-notification-only mode, gated auto-recovery within an execution window you define, or full continuous recovery. Reboots will never occur during business hours without your approval.
Does ScreenDetective run on-premises?
ScreenDetective requires cloud connectivity for screenshot analysis and does not run on fully isolated on-premises deployments.
