A smarter, more visual way to find and book your space, now available, directly in Korbyt Booking.
Finding the right space should be intuitive. Users should be able to see their floor, spot available spaces at a glance, and book, all in one place. Until now, that experience lived exclusively in Bookit, our end-user interface. That changes with this release.
Floor Plan Booking is now available directly in Korbyt Booking, our admin portal. Users no longer need to switch applications to take advantage of their organization’s configured floor plans. The entire booking journey, from browsing a visual layout to confirming a space with services and chargeback, is now available in one place.
Why This Matters
Floor plans have always been one of Korbyt Booking’s most intuitive features, a visual, spatial way to find and claim the right space. Admins have been able to configure them for years. But when it came to actually using those plans to make a booking, users had to leave Korbyt Booking and log into Bookit instead. With this release, that changes across three meaningful dimensions:
- Broader reach: Every Korbyt Booking user can now access floor plans directly, no separate application, no context switch, no extra login.
- Greater visibility: Floor plans are now front and center for the majority of users, not tucked away in a separate application.
- Admin configuration, fully realized: The time admins have invested in configuring accurate, detailed floor plans now benefits the full user base, not just those on Bookit.
What’s New
Floor Plan booking is now a first-class experience inside Korbyt Booking. Here’s what’s included:
Floor Plan Navigation in the Left Menu
A dedicated Floor Plan entry now appears in the left navigation of Korbyt Booking. Users can access it directly without going through the standard new booking workflow first. This improves discoverability and reduces clicks.

Interactive Visual Layout
Once inside, users see a fully interactive rendering of their primary location’s floor plan, the same one configured by their admin. Rooms and desks are pinned to their real positions on the floor. Green indicators show available spaces. Users can zoom in, navigate by floor, and see exactly what’s around them before they commit to a space.

End-to-End Booking Flow from the Floor Plan
Selecting a space from the floor plan launches the complete booking journey, the same workflow users already know. This includes:
- Adding attendee details
- Adding services and catering requirements
- Applying chargeback and booking type logic
- Booking rules, authorization prompts, and error handling
- Booking confirmation with email notifications to relevant parties
No features are left behind. If a user selects a space that requires authorization, the appropriate prompts still appear. Booking rules and restrictions remain in force. Your Built-In Safety Monitor
Who Benefits
This update is particularly valuable for:
- Users who work primarily in Korbyt Booking and find the visual view more intuitive for locating desks on busy floors.
- Organizations with complex, multi-zone floors where visual context makes a significant difference to space selection.
- Enterprise clients who have invested in detailed floor plan configuration and want more of their workforce to benefit from it.
Reception and facilities teams managing bookings on behalf of others, who benefit from a faster, more visual interface.
What Admins Need to Do
If your floor plans are already configured in the Admin Portal, nothing changes. The feature will surface in Korbyt Booking automatically for users with the appropriate permissions.
If you haven’t configured floor plans yet, this is a great moment to do so.
Go to Administration → Property Setup → Floor Plan to upload your floor layout and pin resources to their locations.
